An update to Arenas just rolled out to make Unranked play even more accessible. Unranked 1v1 Duels now support open matchmaking, so you can jump in and find matches without needing to queue with a friend.
Duels are streamlined to accommodate faster match pacing and have the following differences:
The cinematic intro is turned off
Matches are first to 7 rounds
Rounds flow back-to-back without sending you to the Stadium Grounds between fights
This setup is tuned for quick practice sessions before you head into Ranked and start climbing toward Unreal. Whether you’re warming up your mechanics or just looking for fast, focused duels, it’s now easier than ever to get reps in.
We also added five new items to the Arenas loot pool in Ranked and Unranked, all based on direct suggestions from the community during our first Fight Night Friday event. Each heat’s winner got to recommend something they wanted to see by loot category:
Game 1 Winner (AR Category): MK-Seven Assault Rifle
Game 2 Winner (Shotgun Category): Ranger Shotgun
Game 3 Winner (SMG Category): OG Burst SMG
Game 4 Winner (Healing Category): Vendetta Flopper
Game 5 Winner (Player's Choice): Lil Whip’s Special Serve
