After more than two years without updates or new features, we couldn't just do a small update, so we literally rebuilt everything, without changing the core concept, of course.
So here's the blog with all the new additions:
1.NEW BIOMES
Currently, only one map is available: OVERWORLD
The OVERWORLD is a world composed mainly of plains and forests with uneven terrain.
In the forests and plains lives a small family of masons who have a small house where many secrets are hidden.
Further towards the mountains is a cave which appears to have already been exploited, but many diamonds and many paths remain untapped; it is up to you to find them among all these enchanted rocks.
2.NEWS USERS INTERFACES
Numerous new interfaces are available, each with a distinct theme: Blocks.
For the Hiders camp players' interfaces, we opted for comforting tones : orange, red, and dark brown for the outlines.
And for the Hunter, we started with a base color scheme : green, dark green, and black for the outlines.
Here are some examples of UIs available directly in-game:
3.NEWS SYSTEMS
First, we added a shop system. One for Hiders and one for Hunters. The two shops obviously don't have the same items. Hiders have items to help them escape, distract the Hunter, or they can even purchase one of the offers to become a Hunter alongside the existing Hunter. Remember that all items are purchased with Fortnite's in-game currency: VBucks.
The Hiders' Shop is located in the middle of the Overworld map:
And the Hunter's is located in the waiting area before his arrival :
(Note that the Hunter shop is not yet available; only the Hiders shop is currently available.)
