The v1.10 update for D-Day 2 is coming soon, finally introducing spawn picking with a new spawn and class picking UI, a new menu UI, key gameplay changes, and more!
Conscripted D-Day 2 Operations v1.10 Update
Custom Spawn And Class Picking UI:
This update adds a new custom UI where you can pick your class and spawn location after you respawn! In regards to spawns, before this update, the game would randomly place you at locations between HQs, objectives, and outposts. This could be frustrating, especially in scenarios where you are fighting for an objective and may be placed nowhere near it.
Now, based on what your team holds on the battlefield, you can spawn right where your team needs you. After a brief spawn delay, you can choose between spawning at your HQ, objectives, or outposts if you're an attacker. For objective and outpost spawns, though, you have to earn them by taking control of them on the battlefield. With the new objective system mentioned later, you can also lose objective spawns if your team loses an objective.
On top of that, with this new UI, you can choose between all ten classes before spawning at your desired location. Overall, this new UI should provide a much more efficient and reliable experience.
New Menu UI:
Alongside the new spawn UI, there is now a menu that you can access. In the menu, you can learn more about each class, switch teams, toggle music, and read the patch notes and tutorial to learn more about the game. You can open the menu by clicking the gear icon in the top-right corner while you're in the spawn picking UI.
Gameplay Changes:
Introducing the spawn UI has led to changes to the overall gameplay to improve balancing. These changes include a new objective system where both teams can take and lose objectives.
Before this update, if the attackers took an objective, it would be removed, and the defenders would lose it for the rest of the sector. Now, if either team loses an objective, they have the chance to take it back.
There is also a change to how attackers successfully take a sector. Before this update, attackers just had to take both objectives separately if they wanted to move on to the next sector. Now, attackers have to control both objectives at the same time before moving on. This should make things more interesting, as attackers have to keep pressure on both objectives at all times in order to win the sector.
Finally, spawns have been adjusted to accommodate the new spawn-picking system.
Other Changes/Fixes:
When you toggle music it now saves between matches. If you prefer playing without music, you no longer have to turn it off every time you join a game.
Adjusted objective control times
There should now be no reason that inventory can get jumbled around on respawn
Certain popup UI no longer hides and reshows on clicking a button
Adjusted "Day" time of day lighting
Note: In a recent Fortnite update, the way textures are optimized has changed. If you're playing on PC, you’ll need to set your texture quality to “Epic” for the best visual experience.
That is all for v1.10! If you end up checking it out, let us know what you think and feel free to provide any feedback or issues you may face.
Nice.
Can you add abuility to flex with your emotes after you win or lose? At least for your team like in Ballistic?
Don't you think it is harder to be an attacker?
It is hard to understand how much hp your teammates have as a medic, can you make their hp display properly and make medic's life easier?
