Hi everyone,
This is a huge update! I’ve been working hard "under the hood" to refine the visuals, the economy, and the overall flow of the game.
Crafting & Progression Unlocked
I realized that locking items behind levels was slowing down the fun.
Crafting Freedom: All craftable items are now Always Unlocked . You don't need to wait to craft what you need.
Weaponry: You can now craft weapons right from the beginning of the game.
Organization: Crafting tables now feature Categories to make sorting through items much easier.
Visual Overhaul & UI I decided to give the game a fresh look to improve visibility.
New Look: I’ve removed the cyan filter and film noise that "stained" the screen. While it looks a little less apocalyptic, the game looks much cleaner and it is far easier to see enemies and items.
Transparent UI: The interface is now transparent, allowing you to see the environment while in menus.
Navigation: I’ve added a Global Linear Map so you can better track your location, and I updated the mini-map for better accuracy.
Economy: Market Events The economy is getting smarter.
Regional Influence: Traders are now regionally linked. If one trader has a high demand for an item, all traders in that location will follow suit.
Market Events: Keep an eye on your UI! You will now see alerts for vendors that have High Demand or Low Supply , allowing for smarter trading strategies.
World & Travel Changes
Pont Du Lac Rework: I rearranged the town to make more visual sense—it’s no longer confusing to navigate!
Fast Travel: A purchasable Fast Travel System is now implemented among certain checkpoints.
New Outposts: You can now find Outposts in the wild to craft, trade, heal, and refuel without returning to town.
Quality of Life & Fixes
Vehicle Safety: Abandoned cars now show a clear Countdown Timer before exploding. Even better? Explosions no longer cause damage to you.
Quest Tracking: Fetch and Delivery quests now clearly display exactly which item is required.
Car Clipping: Fixed a bug where cars would clip through ramps and bridges.
Start Menu: Simplified the menu logic to work exactly how you expect it to.
Support the Journey! If you’re having fun with these changes, please give the map a Like and Favorite . It costs nothing but means the world to this one-man team.
Stay stoked,GraphicSurfer
