We've had a lot of questions about the droid that was available during the Boss event. At the same time, we've seen many new players jumping into the game, only to discover they can no longer unlock it. Sure, we could have simply reactivated the event, but instead we decided to take the idea a step further.
Introducing the Droid Companions Update!
Collect Droid Cards to unlock unique droid companions, then equip the droid that best suits your playstyle to gain a permanent passive boost.
Upgrade Your Droids by collecting duplicate cards to level them up and unlock even stronger effects.
Purchase Card Packs from vendors throughout the world using resources collected from fallen foes.
Stay Alive! Any Droid Cards you're carrying will be lost if you die, so don't forget to deposit them before leaving each biome. Don't worry this is automatically done!
This is only Part 1 of the Droid Companions update! We'll be expanding the system with even more cards, new droids, and exciting ways to interact with the feature in future updates. We hope you enjoy your new companions, and we can't wait to see how many more times you escape or even beat your fastest run!
