Developer's Note: Hi folks, this is Virti, in name of Prosimetrum and Dojo Maps, we are happy to announce this hude game rebrand from Shark Snatch to Steal The Shark. I know changes can be difficult at the beginning, but we really encourage you to try and share feedbacks about this new game at our Discord server, the invite is: sharkfn We work a lot to make a game redesign but allowing our OG community who loves fishing to keep playing this style. All previous progress is maintened, so you can continue your journey at this new version. In this patch note I will share everything we made and what are our next steps:
GAME LOOP: The main goal of the game still the same, you must become the Shark tycoon, by acquiring Sharks by Fishing, now buy buying them or hatching them. Completing rebirths to get cash multiplier, completing daily quests for rewards and also getting daily login rewards. Sharks start at fishing pond, they can be fished same way old mechanic was, the sharks which were not fished after 30s, go to the river. At the river, sharks can be bought, similar to other Steal Games. There tier of Sharks that can only be acquired by fishing.
UPDATED:
Island: Map is now a retangle, 4 bases each site, with a river at the center and a fishing pond at the beggining.
You may find new shops and new events information across the map.
Luck: Luck was replaced by a simplier combination between rod and bait.
Potions: Lucky Potions were converted to Timer Rods. Previously if you have a 5 minutes potion, you mandatory need to consume this 5M once, now you can equipe a 5minutes Rod, and use for few seconds, saving the rest of time for another day.
Rods: Rods now have a Star system from 1-3. The higher the star is, the higher is your luck to fish better sharks. This new combination odds can be checked at an ingame board, near to the fishing pond.
NEW FEATURES:
New Shark Style: Every week new sharks will be released.
Buy a Shark: Now you can buy a shark directly from the river if you have enought money.
Lucky Block Shark: You can either fish or buy Luck Blocks to unlock Exclusive Sharks!
GOD Tier Sharks | This is a new category of sharks that give + $1M/s Sharks, only acquired by fishing.
Like a Base | If you like someones base, you can do it by interacting to a board at the front door.
