👋 Hey Fortpoolers! 🎱
Hello everyone, we've been working hard on this update and we are pleased to release it. Here is what is new:
🚀 We have reduced the loading times at the start of matches and improved several other loading thresholds during gameplay. It should now feel noticeably faster and stable across PC, console, and mobile. Please try it and let us know how it performs on your setup!
🏆 We have also added a Leaderboard Podium that automatically sorts by rank — highest on top, exactly where they belong.
📊 New Stats Viewer so you can easily check your main in-game statistics (the ones that contribute to your player level).
🛠️ On the fixes side: We have corrected the stats calculation during matches and resolved a few rules that were sometimes awarding the win to the wrong player or team. If anything still feels incorrect, please let us know right away!
⚡ Physics improvement: We have slightly increased the velocity threshold so the balls enter static mode sooner when they slow down. This results in less waiting time. Is this change sufficient or should we increase it further? This is now the default value — full custom settings with presets are coming soon.
💾 We have also reduced memory usage by about 10% (down to ~53 MB). We continue to work on optimization, especially for mobile, to ensure a smooth experience for all players.
🔮 What is coming next week:
Improved top-down camera 📸, with particular attention for mobile so the entire table is framed properly.
First set of Settings: turn timer ⏱️, physics threshold, and cue direction visibility.
What other settings would you like to see in the near future? Please share your ideas — but keep them realistic so we can implement them quickly!

We will therefore focus on settings this week, but we would still appreciate your honest feedback on how the current physics feels. Too slow? Too static? Or just right? Please share your thoughts!
