I’m officially back after this short break, and first of all, I want to sincerely thank all of you. Your support, your messages, your theories, and your patience mean a lot to me. This project would not exist in its current form without the community around it. Even during the break, I kept reading everything, and it honestly motivated me even more to continue pushing this universe further. I want to share a few things with you — not as OPHD, but as the creator behind Nordlicht. First, something important about the universe: Stranger Things is now part of the OPHD timeline. This was completely unexpected at first, and it raised many questions on my side. Because of that, deep reflection is currently underway to properly connect OPHD, The Walking Dead, and Stranger Things into a coherent and logical timeline. Nothing is added randomly — every connection must make sense. Server Update: Since my break, I have spent my time mainly on the Discord server. I have made adjustments and improvements. You will now have surveys allowing me to have your opinion on certain decisions. I also added 8 Soundboards which are all references to The Walking Dead. I could add up to 16 if the server is boosted 🙁 You can also make suggestions to improve the server even more, propose events for the community. But above all! Invited your friends ;) ❄️Regarding OPHD itself: Dr. König is the Director of the OPHD. He is the one behind the operations, the experiments, and the decisions. He sees everything. He monitors everything. Nothing happens without his awareness. Nordlicht is not just a zombie map inspired by Call of Duty. It is a narrative project with multiple temporalities, hidden layers, and long-term continuity. Some elements you have already seen are only fragments of something much larger. I know many of you have questions — and that’s a good thing. However, I have to be honest: I’m sorry, but I can’t say too much for now. Certain pieces of the story must remain hidden a little longer. And tomorrow, I'll show you the Update Board for Version 1.2 of Nordlicht inmy Discord Server (pls join it). No release date yet for this version unfortunatly ): But what I can promise is this: The Second Zombie Map is already in preparation, and what’s coming next will push the universe even further than before. 🏚️Informations about the Second Map
: The second map will take place in a small town in Italy inspired by Fortune’s Keep from Warzone in 2010. I would propose 3 Prototypes to let you understand the history of this sequel so that you are not lost. The first Prototype will not be a Zombie Map! But a map where you will have to invest in the city to understand what happened. As a reminder: Nordlicht takes place on November 4, 1987 Thank you again for being part of this journey.
