Show some love because Season 4 of Khaos Rebirth 2 has arrived with three new Contenders, a anniversary event for the Khaos Rebirth series and loads of balance changes to other Contenders!
SUGAR BASH EVENT
Get the cake because it’s cause for a celebration! From now until May 16, all maps will receive cake that increases player by 50% when hit and balloons alongside some Contender receiving birthday themed items. With. the release of the next update on May 16, a returning map and gamemode from the first game will be returning as celebration for one year of Khaos Rebirth. Stay tuned!
NEW CONTENDER: HEPHAESTUS
BACKLINE | BUFFER

God of fire and the blacksmith of Olympus, Hephaestus is the newest Buffer added to Khaos Rebirth 2’s roster and acts as a Buffer who can grant buffs to grant damage buffs and reset ability cooldowns instead of granting health or shield like most buffers.
Makeshift Shotgun: Hephaestus’ primary weapon. Low damage shotgun with a moderate fire rate. Weak but reliable.
Thermite: x2. 15s cooldown. Thermal heater device that can be thrown to deal behind enemy cover. Damage dealt with Thermites will grant metal.
Crafting and Metal: 25s cooldown.
Power Cell: A buff that Hephaestus can craft for 50 metal, grants a 30% damage boost to anyone who picks it up for 8 seconds and override/be overridden by the damage debuff on Garda’s RFX Detector MK3.
Rotating Gizmo: A buff that Hephaestus can craft for 50 metal, automatically resets most cooldowns with the exception of Shocker’s Bounty, items with built in cooldowns, Garda’s RFX Detector MK3, Ventorr’s Backup Call, etc.
NEW CONTENDER: APHRODITE

Goddess of love, Aphrodite is the newest Marksman added to Khaos Rebirth 2’s roster and acts as a Marksman who can deal heavier damage compared to other Marksmen and disrupt enemy vision on elimination.
Empowered Cupid’s Crossbow: Aphrodite’s primary weapon. High damage crossbow, can deal up to 325 damage on a headshot which will oneshot any Backline (with or without shield) and all DPS (without shield).
Pistol: Sidearm. Pistol.
Aphroshock Flash V1: A powerful EMP that will flashbang enemies for 3s who eliminate Aphrodite.
NEW CONTENDER: KAELITH
DPS | AGGRESSOR

Kraken rebel of Kraken Shores, Kaelith is the newest Aggressor added to Khaos Rebirth 2’s roster and acts as a sidegrade to Hades and can pull enemies closer to him while disrupting enemy vision.
Pump & Dump: Shotgun and SMG combo. Deal high damage with the shotgun (Pump) and low damage at a fast rate of fire with the SMG (Dump).
Enhanced Harpoon Gun: Sidearm. A powerful sidearm that fires a harpoon shot which reels in enemies. Enemies who are hit by the harpoon are inked and flashbanged for 2.5s.
Flopper: x1. 15s cooldown. Fish. A fish that can be consumed for 40HP.
GAMEPLAY CHANGES
Inactive maps are now unrendered and hidden.
CONTENDER CHANGES
Pyra: Replaced Flare Gun with Firework Flare Gun, temporary change for the Khaos Rebirth Sugar Bash Event.
Crowne: Replaced Chaos Reloader (Common) with Sovereign Shotgun (Uncommon).
Hades: Removed damage penalty, can now be affected by Garda’s RFX Detector MK3. Reduced rarity of Gatekeeper Shotgun from Legendary to Common. Chains Of Hades are now destroyed for 20s when dealing damage with them.
Eris: Replaced Wingsuit with Balloons, temporary change for the Khaos Rebirth Sugar Bash Event. Decreased movement speed by 8%.
Ventorr: Replaced Vector 7 DMR (Rare) with Rail Gun (Epic).
Valcrest: Replaced Mammoth Pistol (Uncommon) with Hammer Revolver (Rare).
Hypnos: Replaced Heavy Shotgun (Slug - Rare) with Holo Twister Assault Rifle (Uncommon). Removed grind effect from the Kneecapper, Kneecapper is now destroyed for 20s when dealing damage. Removed speed increase and decrease from dealing damage with his rifle or Kneecapper.
Captain: Replaced Unstable Voltage Burst Pistol with Lawful Shockwave Rocket Launcher.
SEASON 4 MID SEASON PATCH - MAY 16
Season 4 will last until June 6 with the season only receiving a single Mid Season Patch, however, Ra will be joining the Khaos Rebirth 2 roster in the next patch as a new Aggressor who is all about flanking.
When Season 5 begins in June, the game will be receiving lots of quality of life changes and lots of new Contenders joining the roster as Season 5 is planned to largest season thus far, even bigger than Season 3 (the Breakout Zone collab season)!
