The World Cup started with a 2:0 victory by Mexico over South Africa! So it's time to let you know how the updates for the Fantasy League and Predictions will work:
All deadlines are automatically enforced, with UI buttons disabling once a deadline is passed
For results and fantasy league points, I will have to manually update the game. Usually I will do this once per day, so it can take up to 24 hours after a match is finished for match results and fantasy league points to show up.
There will be leaderboards showing the best players per matchday, as well as the best players overall. Unfortunately, Epic Games have already postponed the introduction of Verse supported Global Leaderboards by more than 1.5 years, and they will now release in July the earliest. In the meantime, I will probably set up a manual submission process. I will let you know after matchday 1 is completed on how to submit your scores!
I also want to remind people that it is still possible to create a full lineup in the fantasy league for matchday 1, so there is no disadvantage if you are joining a few days late!
