✨ Sidekick Masters Update

Masters! As always, thank you all so much for all of your bug reports and feedback! We hope the daily Biomes have helped you get that missing Sidekick you needed for your team. This week, we’ve added new translations, more safe guards for your progress, and updated tooltips based on your frequently asked questions. The patch is scheduled to go live at 1PM ET, August 17, 2026.

Highlights

• NEW! Translations! More in-game text is now translated into supported languages.

• Added extra save safeguards to better protect your progress.

Bug Fixes

• Fixed a bug where some Sidekicks could be challenged between barriers.

• Implemented a fix to reduce the desync between Biomes changes.

• Fixed a bug where some Skills were not showing their correct Rarity after being Augmented.

• Fixed HUD notifications not displaying correctly at certain HUD scales.

• Fixed a bug where Defend numbers were showing incorrectly.

• Fixed an issue where all Sidekicks over Level 100 were receiving the same stats as a Level 100 Sidekick.

• Various art and SFX fixes and improvements.

UPDATE: Due to to the reports around crashing and unable to load into the game on multiple platforms, we are rolling back to Version 15.

I deeply apologize to everyone that this is happening to and for those who are on Version 17, progress since the update at 1:00 PM ET will not be saved.

I am having issues with fortnite sidekick masters. I have spent weeks leveling up my sidekicks. Was working like normal this morning .then this afternoon. Pushed me back to beginning. To start all over again. like i had not played and rebirthed. Ihave spent hundreds of dollars on expanding my vault and capturing sidekicks plus leveling up. not acceptable to have to start back from scratch for as much money spent on this game already.

I was level 14. With a lot of exotic sidekicks. And some secrets. I just logged on. And I'm now reset. Back to the beginning levels. I had to reset my HQ and everything. I don't have anything I worked hours on.

Same here. Highly frustrating. Hopefully they get us all of our stuff back.

Lost my progress level 100 sidekicks 27 golds 14 diamonds and 3 rainbows. Tower 190 and rebirth 16. Also spending a lot of Vbucks for vault and rainbow treats. I hope you can set it back otherwise a want a big compensation

i was at rebirth 15, tower 200 and a bunch of exotic and rare sidekicks maxed out just about an hour ago. i logged out and logged back in now and lost everything. spent a lot of time and even vbucks to get there, but definitely not playing anymore if i have to start all over again.

"We have added more safeguards to protect your progress" then proceeds to roll back the version and wipe everyone back to the start... Gg devs

I have the same issue! I lost all my progress and everything! And I even spent so much time on this and 100 vbucks! Please look into this and fox this! Just yesterday I had gotten a rainbow sidekick and now everything is gone!
