Intel is now a real currency you keep and spend!
Collect it: grab the glowing blue Intel canisters hidden in the rooms during a run. Each one is +1 Intel. You can also earn Intel from Daily Gifts and Streak Gifts.
It's yours to keep: Intel saves between runs and never resets, so your balance keeps growing every time you play.
Track it: your HUD shows the Intel you've grabbed this run plus your total. Collecting Intel in a run still gives you its run bonuses.
Spend it: use Intel (plus Gold) to unlock Drones in the vendor:
