some of the winter decorations did not get removed
I hate to be that guy but non-infinite consumables is not a good change, who even decided that? And my reason for this comment is Ig kinda personal/preference based because I like to swing around the islands using the grapple glove and I bet this change is the reason why it's only 30 now and not infinite like it was before, I prefer C6 over 5, but even then the fact that the C6 map (this one) had infinite grapple glove grapples made it that MUCH better than the C5 map you lot have also made. As I said I hate to be that guy but I think this change is not good as it is a playground so why shouldn't stuff be infinite, and if you're argument is "people spam heal with the lil whip icecream" or something similar, then just remove those consumbles/items (on this and the C5). Those are just my thoughts on that change, also the winter decorations one is fine, though I don't see why you guys removed most of the snow before the winter decorations (which apparently some are still on the map, Idk some other dude said so), and also I like snow so I would have loved if the map kept it but just removed the winterfest decorations, yet again that is more of a personal preference tho. Please don't take what I say as me being exrtremely negative, most of these changes are good and welcome but the non-infinite consumbles/items one isn't sorry, it ruins my (and probs others who enjoy these types of maps in a similar manner to me) immersion(s) on these maps, I was upset when I played the C5 map again since a good few months (when it was new ish), to see that the grapple glove had only 30 uses, to then have the C6 map have the limited uses too, because of this change.
Sorry for the long comment btw, I think I kinda repeated myself twice or more even lol, I'm just kinda upset by that change in particular, because of the whole immersion point I made at the end of my above comment, which ofc ties into how much I enjoy playing these sort of maps, the snow is just personal perference, and Ig the infinite consumbles/items is too, but the difference is that the infinite consumbles/items doesn't affect many of the players on this and the C5 map and allows players like me to continute doing what they like, while the snow is just because I like it. Please just consider this change and possibly revert it (maybe by removing the items that caused you lot to make it in the first place, ie: the lil whip ice cream which I'm guessing was one of the reasons), and if not then sure thing, I will accept the change but I would apperciate a response as to why if not, thanks and have a good day whoever may be reading this

make inf consumables a setting. I love nuking everything in private matches
am not someone who does, but our goals align cuz I like to swing across the map (as mentioned in my long ahh msg from a good few hours ago) and so, listen to this guy Gridy devs. ^^
I am also upset that all consumables are now limited, No one surely asked for that, also whenever I decide to turn off my name plate (you know, make it invisible to other players) it's visible to other players, I even tested with a friend (who was not in the same fortnite party as testing mind you) to see if we can still see each other's name plates and sure enough we can, and that's kinda odd since the other playground maps options let's you turn off you're name plate works just fine, so I'm pretty sure it's your map that doesn't work, so please fix that error and change the consumables back to infinite
Thank you for the feedback! We are gathering opinions about the new changes to consumables. The main reason was that people were destroying everything / spamming annoying items in public matches. The change can be reverted at any time, we just want to hear more feedback about that. ๐
That is intentional. Some of the winter stuff like gingerbread and robots create some funny interactions, so we decided to left them
Yeah, I noticed that too (for example like what MrButters says he does - "nuking the island..." and people doing that in public matches and not just private ones like MrButters claims to do and honestly I do agree it is annoying, so much so that I tried stopping one who kept flying around the island spamming precision airstrike (the C6 ones), but couldn't get em because they were too fast and kept spamming the Lil Whip's Ice cream heal, they then gave up and made themselves invincible and nuked places from the ground, and so I do see where the "annoying" comment regarding all of this is coming from. Although ofc since I MAINLY play private games this isn't much of an issue for me, but again I do understand it. MrButters also said to possibly make infinite resources a setting, I might not be an expert in the modern creative space but am pretty sure that ain't possible, but if it is I think you lot should at least look into it, and if not perhaps remove these "annoying items" such as the precision airstrike, the OG air strike, other items that are annoying that I don't know of/don't remember (pretty much items that help destroy the island and it's structures, trees, rocks, etc easily - like the afromention precision airstrike. Oh and other items could be removed too, such as the op healing item that I have mentioned before in this comment reply and my intentional comment top of this comment thread, aka: Lil Whip's Icecream. While this is a playground map and I believe everything should be in the map, or at least everything (items, guns, etc) that are avaliable to map makers. I also understand the need for comprimise and I believe a setting or what I said earlier about removing certain items completely from the map would be a good solution to this problem, but that is just my opnions and my further feedback upon reciving a response from you lot, which actually surprised me a fair bit ngl, so thanks for that and I look forward for what is to come in the future in terms of development and updates for this map (+ hopefully one of my and MrButter's (setting) suggestion(s) gets implemented). Oh and one more thing, please consider these suggestion(s) for the C5 map too, thanks again and take care.
