We’ve got an update, but before we dive into the changes, we want to take a moment to address the “New Administration” update.

We introduced New Administration with the goal of bringing some fresh ideas and new progression systems to Raptor Heist. While there were parts of the update that some players enjoyed, it was also clear from the feedback that a lot of players weren’t happy with the direction we took.

We’ve taken that feedback seriously.

We still believe New Administration had some good ideas behind it, but it became clear that some of those ideas didn’t translate into the experience you wanted Raptor Heist to provide. In particular, progression started to feel more grindy, and some of the requirements felt like they were forcing you to interact with parts of the game that you simply didn’t want to use. So we’ve overhauled the update to improve upon what was already there, while addressing the areas that needed the most work.

Today’s patch is the result of that.

We want to be clear from the start:

This is NOT a complete revert.

Instead, we’ve overhauled several of the systems introduced with New Administration to bring Raptor Heist closer to the feel of the original game, while keeping the progression improvements we think can work.

Here’s what’s changed:

  • Prestige Overhaul

Prestige has received a major overhaul. Prestige now shows 3 tasks, all focused on upgrading stores. You no longer need to upgrade every store before you can prestige, meaning you can reach prestige much faster.

All previous tasks, such as “Collect Diamonds” and “Eliminate Raptors” have been completely removed.

From now on, your prestige requirements are simply: Upgrade 3 stores.

  • Power-Up Store Overhaul

The Power-Up Store has also been reworked. Previously, the store displayed 100 for each power-up, with the cost increasing each time you prestiged. That has now changed.

The levels will remain at:

Health & Shield: 40

Damage: 50

This does NOT change the multiplier or the amount of power-up you receive. You’ll still receive the same benefits, but you’ll simply be able to purchase them more quickly.

  • Store Rebalance

All stores have been rebalanced to make their upgrade prices feel more fair and achievable. The goal is for store progression to feel rewarding without turning fully upgrading your stores into a long-term grind.

  • Increased Enemy Elimination Rewards

Enemy elimination rewards have been increased across the board. This means you’ll now earn currency at a much better rate, allowing you to upgrade stores and reach prestige more naturally.

  • Improved Enemy Navigation

We also noticed that some enemies were struggling with navigation & getting stuck against walls. We’ve made improvements to their navigation to help clean this up.

If you still encounter enemies getting stuck or behaving strangely, let us know so we can continue improving it.

We know this update took some time. We wanted to properly go through the feedback, identify the biggest issues, & work out solutions that made sense both for the player experience & from a development standpoint.

The biggest things we took away were clear:

  • Players don't want Raptor Heist to feel grindy.

  • You don't want to be forced into upgrading stores you don't use.

  • You don't want to complete unnecessary objectives just to progress.

  • You want progression to feel natural, rewarding, and fun.

That’s what this patch is focused on.

A huge thank you to everyone who took the time to play the update and give us feedback. Whether you enjoyed the changes, disliked them, or simply had suggestions for how we could improve them, that feedback has helped shape where we’re taking Raptor Heist next. We’ll continue listening, and improving the game as we move forward.

We hope you enjoy this update, & find it in your hearts to give the game another chance.
