This tiny patch adds the 8-Bit Shotgun, but an overhaul to the Loadout system is in the works and I want feedback on its current state and what players want to see from it!

Additions:

  • Added the 8-Bit Shotgun to the Shotguns section of the shop as well as to the Random loadout

I want your feedback!

What do you think of the Loadout system in its current state?

Currently loadouts line the walls of a single, large room in the shop with different ones for different seasons, from which you can freely equip either individual items from, or the entire loadout at once.

Loadouts are only organized by season, and are only created when there is a new, unique item in each category (sniper, assault, shotgun and sidearm) added that season - seasons with missing categories such as C7S3: Runners don't have loadouts because not enough variety was introduced in the new items that season.

Other than seasonal loadouts, there is the Random Loadout, which gives you a random item for each loadout category, as well as my personal loadouts, both modular and non-modular.

What I have planned for the overhaul:

  • More rooms for more organization of loadouts (similar to how Consumables are sorted)

  • Loadouts for every season, even those without new/unique items in each category

  • Themed, non-seasonal loadouts

  • Custom loadouts - players can save and load up to 5 different loadout slots for easy switching between practice and general loadouts

What are your thoughts? Should I keep the loadout system as-is? Should I change some parts, or keep some parts the same? Let me know below!
