Hi everyone,

Another massive update.

Village Overhaul

I have completely reworked the first village, Pont du Lac. It features new buildings and a brand new dealership.

New Mechanic:

  1. Dealerships & Garages Dealerships: Vehicles purchased from dealerships are now permanent purchases and ownership. They are much more durable, come with a full tank of gas, and—best of all—don’t explode when left behind. They are also upgradeable. I’m starting out with the sedan, dirt bike, truck, and sports car, but I will expand the fleet in the near future. They are more expensive than the average purchase, but they are much better.

  2. Garages: I introduced garages last week as a sneak peek, but they play together now with the dealership. You simply buy vehicles from the dealership and then spawn them at the garage.

  3. Signage Clearer Labels: Cost and benefits are now clearly labeled in front of every rental property. I also have directional signs within Pont du Lac to help you get around, and I will add these to the other villages soon.

Lobby Reconfigured

The lobby has a new layout. On the left side is the story so far. On the right side is a tutorial section and a trophy room. In a future update, I will make trophies appear dynamically depending on what you have achieved in the game.

The Road Ahead

So what’s still to do? A lot of the interiors, like furniture and such, need to be worked on. The story and dialogue also need to be completely revamped; right now it’s too wordy. I’m also adding a bounty system for capturing Raiders.

Support the Journey!

If you’re having fun, please give the map a Like and Favorite. It costs nothing but means the world to this one-man team.

Stay stoked,
