Updates, Changes and Improvements
Flannel Falls Ventures Season
Spring into the Ventures zone and take on the Escalation Modifier! Every 30 eliminations, you’ll trigger an elemental burst, damaging nearby enemies and granting a stacking 10% damage boost (capping at 100%).
Elimination Streak Effects
🍃 30 Eliminations - Nature Burst (damages and stuns nearby enemies)
🔥 60 Eliminations - Fire Burst (applies a damage-over-time effect)
🪩 90 Eliminations - Dance Party (forces Husks to dance and refills your Energy)
❄️ 120 Eliminations - Ice Burst (freezes nearby enemies)
⚡ 150 Eliminations - Energy Burst (nearby enemies take increased damage)
Heads up: Losing your streak resets the above bonuses, so be sure to stay on the move and see how far you can go! The Flannel Falls Venture Season runs from January 22 (12:00 AM UTC) to April 1, 2026.
Dungeons
The Dungeons have reopened! Fight through monsters and avoid nasty traps as you descend into the depths. Your inventory is limited and crafting is disabled, so don’t forget to search for treasure lying around - it might just give you the edge to slay the Boss at the end! Complete Dungeons and related Quests to unlock a whole bunch of rewards, such as:
Heroes: Mermonster Ken (Ninja), Swamp Knight (Soldier), Chaos Agent (Soldier)
Cosmetics: Spray, Banners, Loading Screen, Lobby Music
Lunar Llama
Lunar Llama in, Holiday Llama out! With Frozen Fjords behind us, Lunar Llamas have stepped in to replace Holiday Llamas. The Lunar Llama is packed with seven Dragon Weapons (both ranged and melee) and a roster of eight Lunar New Year Heroes, available in the Llama Shop for 500 Lunar Tickets.
Event Store Arrivals
Wukong makes his return to the Event Store! This Mythic Soldier Hero specializes in chaining ranged eliminations into explosive bursts, dealing damage to nearby enemies.
The Dragon's Fist is a melee weapon that trades speed for raw power, dealing fire damage and knocking enemies back with dragon-fueled force.
Blockbuster
The Blockbuster Questline returns for the entire Ventures Season! Completing all four parts will net you:
Mythic Heroes: Carbide (Soldier) and The Cloaked Star (Ninja)
Choice of Legendary Military Weapons: Crossbow, Silenced Specter, Bald Eagle
Choice of Legendary Shadow Ops Heroes: Saboteur Bull (Constructor), Ambush Buzz (Outlander), Deadly Lotus Luna (Ninja), Undercover Vaughn (Soldier)
Lunar Tickets and Gold
Bug Fixes
Fixed a matchmaking issue where some players couldn't load into Missions following today's release.
Players can now join Ventures Missions with the Fill option enabled.
Soldiers’ Shockwave ability should no longer be locked out for the remainder of the Mission if interrupted by player-built ramps, roofs or sloped terrain.
[Xbox One] Mitigated stuttering (i.e. rubberbanding) while sprinting.
[Xbox One] Fixed a lighting issue on the Command and Mission Launch screens.
Placing R.O.S.I.E. next to Traps no longer destroys them.
[Xbox/PlayStation] Fixed swapped Simple Build button inputs.
Known Issues
Players are currently unable to purchase multiple Armory Slots in the Llamas tab.
The “X has joined the team” notification still displays Power Level and F.O.R.T. stat increase text, even though these stats no longer change when players join a party.
Some abilities may be spammable while on cooldown, sometimes consuming Energy even though the ability is not actually activated.
Fixed in next major game update.
[Simple Edit] UI does not update to reflect the reset after editing a structure.
When inspecting Heroes on the Manage screen, certain pieces of head textures (e.g. hair, beard, hats or full head) may not be visible.
[Xbox One] Directional Jump Pads won’t activate when Phase Shifting onto them.
Hotwire's Overcharge Perk may not trigger lightning damage consistently.
Releasing and pressing the Attack button again will restart lightning damage.
The Hero Commander Buckle+ Perk currently provides reduced effective damage as weapon level increases.
The player character may sometimes use an incorrect arm-sweep animation when interacting with world objects.
