Update v8.20 is live, and a “Cel-shaded Sprite Summer” has officially begun! Drop into a cel-shaded island full of Sprites!
You’ll be able to find three types of Sprites wondering the pre-game lobby and the island. Each of these Sprites have a unique gameplay mechanic.
Please note that these Sprites have no correlation to the current Fortnite season. Only for gameplay purposes.
You will also be able to find a prop gun in a supply drop every game!
Summer isn’t summer without a beach ball..? Right??? Well, you can find numerous beach balls around the island. You can bounce them around.
Trade your weapons
Interact with an "Earth Sprite" (labled on the map). Trade in your weapon to receive a legendary weapon!
Fully cel-shaded map!
From today (July 3) until the end of Season 2 the island will be fully cel-shaded!
