The future of our studio

Hey, Everyone! We wanted to share with all of you that we will be pulling away from working on new projects going forward as a whole. We are doing this because we simply cannot support the recent decisions epic games has made regarding AI use to develop games/apps. We have received a lot of criticism on our Twitter/X after announcing this so i wanted so share here with everyone why we actually made this decision. It was not an easy decision to make but being in an ecosystem where encouraging your creators to make an entire project using AI entirely with a 50k reward is not something we want to be part of. It’s not just that though however it is the main thing epic games moderation is absolutely horrible making releasing some projects nearly impossible due to false copyrighted assets or flagged assets such as leaf textures etc. We also find it extremely hard to grow in this ecosystem due to the heavy use of AI by other people mass producing slop games that fill discovery so good original projects are pushed to the bottom. To be clear, we are not upset with AI as a tool but promoting heavy use of it and pushing it to be mainstream for every project kills the creativity and passion of anyone who uses it, at the end of the day Quality > Quantity. AI Use encourages spammy slop maps.
