Hey there, everyone! I am Taering. I am operating REML; a team dedicated to bringing you the best and most fulfilling Fortnite experiences.

I unfortunately took a long break from island creation for around a year, and deleted my account in that period thinking I would be too busy to create Fortnite Islands ever again (mostly due to personal scheduling, with studying for high school and then college, and such). But I personally decided I would instead pursue my college degree whilst also making time for work I am quite passionate about, such as creating these islands you all seem to enjoy so much.

I made Bot Battle back in December 2020. I finished it within a week because it was a quick and simple idea I had; an appropriately color-themed rarity-based gauntlet where you get basic weaponry and ammo to fend off sentries. Back then, creative was quite simple and primitive so I only had so much to work with. Sentries were merely traps you placed, and I had to do so manually for around ~80 sentries scattered across the island. There was no financial incentive for such work, it was purely a simple idea I had.

Only during December 2022 did I randomly start earning revenue on this island I created long ago that seemed to have garnered mild success, although, I refrained from making more islands (besides two other spin-offs I made back in February 2021 and March 2022, Explosive Edition and Bot Race, respectively).

I had a condition which I made explicit social media posts about back then; only if Mythic items released would I make a sequel. And sure enough, they eventually did. I got to working on it, even though Guard Spawners had not been added yet.

So I made a sequel with both Mythic and, during work, Exotic was added so I integrated that as well. Though, I hope this demonstrates that this whole project was a passion project rather than a purely financial endeavor; and it is quite tragic to see the Fortnite ecosystem the way it is now because everyone is maximizing for profit gains rather than just expressing whatever their mind imagines freely.

I do not make much revenue from this island, but, the amount is good enough to keep me covered but not one I would depend on to live. I had to make this all clear to just be firm in my commitment to keeping this as passion-driven as possible; that means no coin systems, no in-island transactions, no paywalls, no P2W systems, none of that which you see in many Fortnite Islands nowadays.

And of course, because of my ignorance, I had to rebuild all 4 maps from complete scratch seeing as how I deleted my account as well as the map files I had when I converted them to UEFN. There are still glitches here and there since I used in-game footage I had to rebuild it, but did not playtest it as much, since I got tired of playtesting these maps so much during when I first built them, that it got exhausting repeating that process once again. So, I made a playable-ish version and am using analytics devices to find where bugs or softlocks might be, so please bear with me on this, as you are an integral part of this rebuilding process.

But, one thing I am glad of is how much care Fortnite Creative has been receiving; seeing as how Guard Spawners are around, that makes both Bot Battle and its spin-offs and sequels effectively outdated by now. Although, the reason I used sentries was, as I said, no viable alternatives at the time. Though, Guard Spawners will be seamlessly integrated into this storyline I am building. It is silly; it is merely a Fortnite Island, but the way it turned from a simple level gauntlet to a gradual storyline is one I would like to really focus on. And I am glad to finally have the ability to outwardly express my mind directly to the community itself through this new feature; and I will be updating this regularly, and so should you. Currently, players are as integral to the development process as the developers themselves. So, forgive me if there are issues, and know I am always working on fixing them, or working on developing new content, whether it is BB1, EE, BR, BB2, or BB3. And I am excited to show you what I have planned. Thank you all for your support.
