I don't want to be rude, but what makes this set have any right to be so expensive?

Not a dev however I've played the game enough to own every set released including this one without purchasing gems with vbucks. The problem may be you are not participating in the game. Hero wins and sheriff wins have granted me 30+ gems with one win. I'm not entirely sure how the system works but I dont have complications obtaining gems by always killing as murderer or winning at the other three roles.

I do have 56,000 wins in the game

If you're a hero, you have to kill the killer. If you are a sheriff, you don't have to kill. If you're the murderer, you get one gem if you kill someone. If you win, you get 10 gems as the murderer. That's how the system works

Hero gives you 10. Sheriff also gives you 10

I'm just saying the set is too expensive for what it is
