New Item: The Stick of Truth
The one-time-use Stick of Truth may descend from the sky for any mere mortal to wield. Control the Storm by retrieving it and watch as it immediately shrinks to surround you for the final circle.
New Item: Cheesy Poofs
Packed full of… ingredients, Cheesy Poofs can give you a quick pick-me-up! Cheesy Poofs restore Health quickly, and you can even eat them while sprinting. Throw them to heal allies or damage enemies.
New Item: Kenny’s Respawn Token
It’s just like Kenny said: “Mmph rmph mmph... phrm mmph!” Translation? If you find the one-time-use Kenny’s Respawn Token, it’ll automatically reboot you after being eliminated.
New POI: Cartmanland
There’s no height requirement at Cartman’s personal theme park, Cartmanland, which features rides like CHAOS BLAST, Voyage to the Center of the Planet, and Pi Pi’s Lazy River.
Born in Chaos Pass (Yes, It’s Free)
Navigate to the “Born in Chaos” tab in the Lobby for the Born in Chaos Pass. No V-Bucks required. This new Pass has 13 South Park-themed items you can unlock by completing South Park Quests, like the Backpack of CRED Back Bling, Terrance and Phillip Pickaxe, and Cheesy Poofs Rocketship Emote.
Complete all the Quests and you’ll get the Imaginationland Airship Glider!
The South Park chaos is around until February 5 — drop in with the boys and have yourself a time.
UPDATE (January 9)
As part of this update (v39.20), we also made some loot pool and balance adjustments to Battle Royale:
🔒 Shockwave Grenades have been vaulted.
🆕 Crash Pad Jr has been unvaulted.
v39.20 mixes up the meta by vaulting Shockwave Grenades and unvaulting the Crash Pad Jr so players stay mobile, but with more deliberate setup and creative use of the terrain.
💪 Tactical Assault Rifles and Holo Rush SMGs now deal more damage at longer ranges.
🔻 Deadeye Assault Rifles now deal less damage at longer ranges, have increased hip fire spread, and have slightly more recoil while scoped.
Deadeye Assault Rifle power has been reduced to make room for stronger competition from the Tactical Assault Rifle and Holo Rush SMG.
