A massive new update is now live in Oil Tycoon! We've listened to your feedback, fully tested our live event systems, and added brand-new daily events and progression milestones.
Here is what is new in this update:
* Market Happy Hour: Twice a day, at 10:00 UTC and 20:00 UTC, the gas market enters "Happy Hour" for exactly 60 minutes. During this time, the market delta is locked between $12 and $20, guaranteeing massive profits on your gas sales.
* Index Completion Unlocks: Completing your Drill Index now has major perks! Reaching 100% on a tier index allows you to activate a permanent speed bonus and a custom movement effect to show off your achievement. Completing higher tiers grants an even faster speed bonus.
* The Admin Abuse Event Returns: The chaotic live event is back! Based on community feedback, it is now fully optimized and lasts for an entire hour. The map will experience constant spawns of drills and refineries, including rare chances to grab Gold, Diamond, and Rainbow drills.
