Starting August 14 and running until September 30, 6 AM ET, watch your favorite Fortnite creators on Twitch, catch Fortnite-themed objects* live on their stream, and earn real in-game rewards.
How it Works:
Connect Your Accounts: Connect your Twitch and Epic Games accounts to become eligible for in-game rewards.
Collect Items: While watching a stream with the extension enabled, Fortnite-themed objects will randomly appear. Collect them to add them to your collection.
Complete Your Collection: Collect every kind of object to earn that Phase's featured reward. The same object can be collected more than once.
Climb the Leaderboard: Every object collected boosts your rank on the Channel and Global Leaderboards, and helps your favorite streamer's rank on a Streamer Leaderboard.
Fuel the Takeover: Help your community reach the object's collected goal so your streamer can take over another channel's stream. Viewers on the channel being taken over can fight back by spamming a designated emote to counter it.
The rewards run across 4 Phases. A new objects collection and new rewards go live at the start of every Phase, and a Lobby Hack is revealed at the end of each Phase. What’s a Lobby Hack? Stay tuned…
*Virtual Fortnite items collected on Twitch will not be added to your Fortnite Locker. The rewards earned as part of this Extension will be granted directly to your connected Epic account within 30 days, or such other time as reasonably required by Epic for this grant.
How to Set It Up (Streamers):
Go to your Twitch Creator Dashboard.
Search for “Fortnite Extension”.
Click “Add”, then set it as Overlay 1.
Enter your Support a Creator code in the Extension Configuration panel.
Make sure you’re streaming under the Fortnite category.
