Hey everyone — it’s been half a year since our last update, and we wanted to finally check in with you all.
A lot has changed behind the scenes.
Over the past several months, development slowed more than expected, and our team went through some major changes. What was once a small team is now down to just one person — me, MeCool Creates — continuing development on MeCool Royale.
That means longer nights, more work, and a lot of rebuilding, but there’s one thing I want to make clear:
MeCool Royale is still alive.
As of Monday, June 8th, 2026, I have officially resumed active work on the project. Progress is moving again, systems are being rebuilt, and the goal remains the same: make MeCool Royale the best version of itself possible.
While development has taken time due to also focusing on my larger project, Strike Force, MeCool Royale has never left my mind. If anything, the time away helped shape a clearer vision for what this game should become.
And now for some features you can expect at launch:
🔹 Custom Weapons — unique weapons designed specifically for MeCool Royale to help separate it from a standard Fortnite experience.
🔹 A Custom Pickaxe System — players will have access to a custom pickaxe built for the experience, with the option to toggle it off if you’d rather use your own cosmetics.
🔹 A Fully Custom Lootpool System — expect a curated loot experience built around balance, gameplay identity, and making every match feel fresh.

MeCool Royale is set to release THIS MONTH. 👀
There’s still testing, polishing, and final adjustments happening, but we’re finally getting close to the finish line. It’s taken longer than expected, but I’m committed to making sure the experience is worth the wait.
