We just pushed a massive update to Word Imposter. We are introducing entirely new game modes, a fresh economy, and necessary bug fixes.
What is New:
Party Room: We expanded the lobby size. You can now play with up to 12 players max, facing off against 1 Imposter.
Glitch Room: This is a brand new, chaotic mode. No one is told who the Imposter is. Agents get the same category but different words, while the Imposter gets a different category and a totally random word.
The Shop: We implemented a new money system. You can now earn cash to buy new Glows and customize the chairs you sit in during the game.
QoL & Bug Fixes:
Smart Lighting: Lights will now only turn on for the specific seats where players are actually sitting.
Bug Fixes: We fixed the broken weekly stats, patched the Streamer mode bug, and resolved the cosmetic glitches.
RNG Fix: We checked the code to fix the issue where players were getting selected as the Imposter 13 times in a row.
The update is live right now. Jump in, test the Glitch Room, and start unlocking the new chair cosmetics.
